Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information publicutil.com and its subdomain tools (for example, sheet-merger.publicutil.com; together, the "Service") handle, and how.
1. Summary
- The images and files you select are never uploaded to or stored on a server. All processing happens inside your browser.
- There are no accounts, no advertising or tracking cookies, and no analytics scripts.
- Only the feedback you choose to send with "Send feedback" is stored on a server.
2. Information processed automatically when you visit
The Service is delivered through Cloudflare. When you visit, Cloudflare automatically processes the following for security and reliable operation.
- What: access logs such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, and browser/device type (User-Agent)
- Why: delivering the Service, blocking malicious traffic, and troubleshooting
- How long: according to Cloudflare's policies. We do not download or keep these logs ourselves.
3. Visit statistics
We only look at aggregate statistics (such as visits and request counts) shown in the Cloudflare dashboard. These are aggregated by Cloudflare from the access logs in section 2. We do not add analytics scripts or cookies to our pages, and we do not use these statistics to identify individual visitors.
4. Feedback
We collect the following only when you send feedback with "Send feedback".
- What: the feedback type (bug, idea, or other) and your message, an optional email address, the tool name, language, site version, a summary of your browser and operating system, screen and window size, and the option values you selected (such as paper size and DPI)
- What we don't collect: your images, files, file names, or image contents. Your IP address and full User-Agent string are not stored.
- Why: fixing bugs, improving the Service, and replying to you if you gave an email address
- How long: deleted 12 months after collection. Email addresses are deleted without delay once we have replied.
- Email is optional. You can send feedback without it.
- Spam protection: before sending, Cloudflare Turnstile runs an automatic check. Cloudflare may process browser and device signals and your IP address to do this. Turnstile is loaded only when you open the feedback form.
- Notifications: when new feedback is stored, the same content (including any email address) is forwarded to a private Discord channel so we can read it. These notifications are deleted on the same schedule.
5. Cookies and browser storage
- The Service does not set cookies.
- We use your browser's local storage (
publicutil.lang) to remember the display language you chose, and session storage to remember that you dismissed a language suggestion. This stays on your device, is never sent to a server, and can be cleared in your browser settings at any time.
6. Sharing and service providers
We do not sell your personal information or give it to third parties. We use these service providers to run the Service:

7. International transfers
These providers operate servers outside your country, so your information may be transferred abroad as follows. If you don't want this, you can skip the feedback form or leave the email field empty; you can still use every tool. (Access log processing is required to deliver the Service.)

8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop its processing, at any time. Contact us below and we will act without undue delay. If you tell us roughly when you sent feedback and what it said, we can find it.
9. Deletion
When the retention period ends or the purpose is fulfilled, we delete the information from the database and the notification channel so it cannot be recovered.
